Auto Locksmith Training Courses

Our new one-day Auto Locksmith course is perfect for newcomers to teach you everything you need to know. You’ll learn about gaining access to a wide range of vehicle types and how to correctly use the Auto Locksmith tools and equipment, being given the highest levels of Auto Locksmith training. The course includes:

  • Learning how to non-destructively open cars and other vehicles

  • An introduction to Lishi lock picks and vehicle lock picking

  • An exploration of the HU66, VA2, HU92, HY22 and more

  • Car Lock Decoding

  • Learning the Reach and Breach entry method

Our course is split up into theory and practical, so you learn the basics before putting it into practise during your Auto Locksmith training. Although the theory element is key, the course is mostly practical. This is so we can make sure you leave the course feeling confident about using Lishi lock picks and opening a vehicle non-destructively with the practical experience you’ve gained.

There are a wide variety of vehicles and vehicle locks we teach about on our Auto Locksmith course. This includes several models from some of the best-known vehicle manufacturers.

Is an Auto Locksmith a Good Career?

If you love every workday being something different, meeting and helping a wide range of people and problem solving, then becoming an Auto Locksmith is an incredibly rewarding career.

It’s also important to note that as an Auto Locksmith, these services are generally more expensive compared to a standard Locksmith. This is because your skills are more specialist and you’ll need to own the specialist equipment to do the job. Are you also interested in becoming a fully qualified domestic Locksmith?

Tools Required for our Auto Locksmith Training Course

As a student of a Keytek® Locksmith course, you will have everything you need for the course provided for you at our training centre. Complimentary lunch for the day and the highest quality tools currently on the market, you won’t need to bring anything! The only requirement for the Auto Locksmith course is that you complete a basic DBS check before starting the training.

​

Once you’ve completed our Automotive Locksmithing course, you’ll be able to confidently work in the Auto Locksmithing industry, and whilst you’ll have to purchase your own Locksmithing tools and equipment, our Auto Locksmith course trainers will provide you with guidance on the correct tools that you will need to work in the Auto Locksmithing industry. You could look to get further Auto Locksmith training in car key cutting, car key replacements and repairs.

How Much Does an Auto Locksmith Training Course Cost?

To learn everything, you need to know to be competent and feel confident in non-destructively entering a vehicle, our Auto Locksmith course costs £320 + VAT.
